Youtube has now created a customized version which will make YouTube video content available on TV set using Nintendo Wii or Sony Playstation 3. Just access YouTube TV available at www.youtube.com/tv using the Wii’s Opera browser or the PS3’s built-in browser.

YouTube shares their experience as: “With enlarged text and simplified navigation, it makes watching YouTube on your TV as easy and intuitive as possible. Optional auto-play capability enables users to view related videos sequentially, emulating a traditional television experience. The TV Website is available internationally across 22 geographies and in over 12 languages.”

”As opposed to the experience a viewer gets watching videos on a PC or laptop, this website (currently in beta) has been designed to provide a dynamic, lean-back, 10-foot television viewing experience through a streamlined interface that enables you to discover, watch and share YouTube videos on any TV screen with just a few quick clicks of your remote control.”  – Google representatives.

The company also stated: “Our hope is that this site may help to accelerate an industry evolution towards open television access to Web video. Over time, we plan to add support for additional TV devices that provide Web browsers”.

On the last day of New Year, users of Microsoft’s Zune music player reported that their 30GB Zune devices were freezing up. The Zune’s message board was filled with complaints when they found that they could not get to their songs or pictures.

The Zune developers could find the root of the problem only on the middle of the day. In its Zune 30 FAQ, it advised users with frozen Zunes to follow these steps:

1. Disconnect your Zune from USB and AC power sources.

2. Because the player is frozen, its battery will drain–this is good. Wait until the battery is empty and the screen goes black. If the battery was fully charged, this might take a couple of hours.

3. Wait until after noon GMT on January 1, 2009 (that’s 7 a.m. Eastern or 4 a.m. Pacific time).

4. Connect your Zune to either a USB port on the back or your computer or to AC power using the Zune AC Adapter and let it charge.

Hope everything goes on well with the Zune music player in the future.
