Acer unveiled its two notebooks, Aspire 3935-6504 and Aspire 8935G Gemstone. The Aspire 3935-6504 has 13.1 inches frameless Cine-Crystal LED display of lesser than 1 inch thickness, Intel core 2duo processor and Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 4500MHD which delivers HD imagery. It has 3GB memory, 250-GB SATA hard drive for memory and information storage, and four cell Li-on batteries. For security and easy navigation, it has a multi-gesture touch pad that gets paired with a fingerprint scanner. The overall weight of the new Aspire 3935-6504 is 4.18 pounds. Its cost begins from $899.99. It comes with Windows Vista Home Premium with Service Pack 1.
Acer Aspire 8935G Gemstone notebook is mainly designed for multimedia applications users. It has Intel Core 2 Duo processor accompanied by up to 4 GB DDR3 memory, and holds information up to 500 GB of storage that can be expanded to 1 TB by equipping the notebook with dual hard drives.
Aspire 8935G Gemstone notebook has 1920*1080 pixel widescreen display with 18*4-inch HD CineCrystal and 16:9 aspect ratio and 1080p playback format. Acer ported ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4670 desktop graphics display to its Gemstone notebook.
