By Musa Aykac

This week Google launched their new browser called Chrome (what a great name). As always Google’s release was surrounded by a lot of buzz and let me tell you now that it was worth it every single bit. Currently the two most popular browsers on the market are Microsoft’s Internet Explorer and the webmaster friendly Mozilla Firefox.

The expectation of the browser was very high and so it should be Google are a multi million dollar company, actually the fastest growing company in the world. But they have met the expectation and exceeded it by miles. Now we will take a look at the beneficial factors of the new browser.

First and foremost the installation is lightning fast. When first loading up the browser all I could notice was the speed the site loads up, very fast indeed. One major floor that both of it competitors were suffering was speed. Besides that Google have taken into consideration all the major floors that the over browsers have. Two of which are very clear at first site and the first being that when a website or loading page decides to crash it does not cause the whole of the browser to crash.

This had a habit of being very annoying, especially when you had several important tabs open. What the chrome browser does is only cause the tab in question to fault and close down. The second great feature is the incognito feature which does not record any of your browsing history, this will be great for internet cafes, schools and various confidential work places.

Switching to the design interface, well what can I say it looks great! easy, simple and professional are the three words that come to mind. With a sleek and simple safari like look it is sure to win a lot of awards. Finally all in all this is Google’s first attempt and they have done very well, they have built a browser taking into consideration the new developments of websites, so unlike Firefox and IE who have had to upgrade and tweak there browsers to suit new design and coding needs. Chrome has been designed to cater for the future view of web pages from the beginning.

Still in beta mode the browser will see amazing improvement over the next coming years and with Google looking to now dominate the browser market IE and Firefox must be running scared, very scared!
